Starting October 2, 2025, La Maisonnée kicks things off with a must-see workshop:

“How to Prepare for a Good Job Fair?”, a session that effectively prepares visitors to maximize their participation in the Job and Continuing Education Fair scheduled a few days later. More information about the event

The same day will also see the Employment and Social Integration Fair for Asylum Seekers, a key initiative to provide asylum seekers with professional and social opportunities.

An unmissable event at the Palais des congrès: October 8 and 9.

On October 8 and 9, 2025, the Employment and Continuing Education Fair will be held. This event is one of the most important for anyone wishing to integrate the Quebec job market.

La Maisonnée will be present with an information booth, specialized advisors, and several targeted conferences:

  • 2:00 p.m.: “Working in the Quebec Public Service” Presented by Mahnaz Modirmaaliyan, this conference provides a comprehensive overview of opportunities in the public service, from hiring criteria to public sector benefits.
  • 2:00 p.m.: “Toolbox: Resume, Cover Letter or Motivation, Portfolio” Led by Aleida Salmeron, this practical session aims to provide concrete tools for a powerful professional presentation tailored to the expectations of Quebec employers.

Preparing for the Fall SIIQ: Another Key Step!

On October 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., La Maisonnée is offering a new edition of the session “How to Prepare for a Successful Fair?”, this time in preparation for the SIIQ, the Quebec Immigration and Integration Fair.

On October 29 and 30, 2025, the fall edition of the SIIQ will also be held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, bringing together numerous organizations, employers, and stakeholders from the integration community. Our team will offer two workshops in the participatory spaces:

  • 2:00 PM: “Job Interview Questions (Virtual and In-Person)”

Presented by Mireille Mirambeau, this session will help participants prepare for different types of interviews in the Quebec context.

  • 2:00 PM: “Toolbox: Resume, Cover Letter, Portfolio”

Returning with Aleida Salmeron, this session will address the strong demand for better preparation of application documents.
