Tax clinic
This service allows newcomers to file their tax returns in Quebec with our help. The annual tax return is an obligation for anyone listed in one of the following categories: permanent residents, newcomers for their first tax return, protected persons, temporary workers, foreign students, asylum seekers and naturalized Canadian citizens for their first tax return. The tax clinic is open during March and April and at a modest cost depending on the family situation.

This service is intended to help allophones, regardless of their immigration status, who are facing difficulties in communicating with Hydro-Québec to resolve various problems such as late payment, etc. A social worker will accompaniy you in these steps by contacting the company directly.
Promotion of rights
This one-on-one support service provides you with help, legal information and support to inform you about your rights and the laws in Quebec and Canada. It also intervenes within the framework of government programs to fight racism and multiple forms of discrimination experienced by different cultural communities.
